What a fantastic location near the river and at a very affordable price. We like to wake up to exercise in the mornings, so this was a perfect location for its easy access to the river for some gorgeous runs. It's a little further from the center than other hotels but we enjoy the walk. Wouldn't be ideal for people who want to walk out and right into a Plaza. Also, this hotel has an amazing breakfast buffet and great baristas for coffee. It's also really close to the Pils Brewery.

The hospitality I received at this hotel was fabulous. I arrived a bit early before check-in time, but the lovely host Karolina made me feel genuinely comfortable in the meantime. Room was clean and quiet but a bit cramped. Bathroom was plenty roomy and came with oversized tub, which was much appreciated on a cold day of travel.

The restaurants offer great local cuisine and an impressive selection of beers.
But what really makes this place stand out is the friendly people. They are knowledgeable about the local area and can recommend places to visit and things to do.
Overall Plzeň is a great place to stay. It offers a unique experience for beer lovers and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

I would say 2 days and 2 nights is enough to go around the city and visit the main attractions, you can literally walk everywhere. If you don't speak czech, at least half the places have english speaking staff. Try to avoid the fancy restaurants in the city centre and go try some local food outside the touristy areas, have your translator in hand and order your food just pointing at the menu, staff will be very undestanding (always carry some cash as card payments are not available everywhere)

An absolutely gorgeous town with lots of history.
An absolutely gorgeous town with lots of history. It's nice to walk around, admiring the colourful buildings, but the Adolf Loos apartment tours are really worth it for anyone interested in architecture.
Very easy to get around, the trams are really cheap as well.
The Le Frenchie cafe on the main square serves obscenely nice cakes but there are many other places serving many different cuisines.
Also, worth trekking out of town to visit the Bohemia Sekt brewery where you can go on a tour and wine taste.

Plzeň is not the first choice of many going to Czechia.
Plzeň is not the first choice of many going to Czechia. However its a lovely town, easily walked.
Most of the stuff is around the town square with the magnificent St Bartholomews church.
Plenty of good cafes and restaurants abound - but some are small and hidden away so go looking!
Its a fun, interesting town for a few days - and do not miss the Pilsen Brewery Tour which is well worth a visit!

Plzen is quiet and a pleasant town.
Plzen is quiet and a pleasant town. You can easily walk around and the train station is easily accessible. There are not a lot of taxis, but there is access to BOLT & UBER. We used BOLT successfully a couple of times. The town center has a nice church, shops, where you can buy food or Bohemian crystal etc., a library and cafes. The tour of the Pilsen 1842 beer factory is a must. It's fun and lasts 2 to 3 hours. A generous free sample at the end of the tour in the underground cellars. We stayed just just across the river, so we could walk to shops and the train station.

A uniqe city with an uncoverd amazing history that almost everybody in the world knows something connected with the City of Pilsen, but almost nobody knows, that it comes from Pilsen or that it is historicaly connected with Pilsen. Go there, find some information about this city, enjoy the city with its surrounding area and feel the atmosphere of this uniqe place!
Check in was faultless, with the host present , explaining every facet and features of the property in question. Property was clean and had all features expected and more. The welcome drink was a nice gesture and very much appreciated. These hosts deserve their ten rating totally. I would go out of my way to book another stay at DaFi Apartmán if ever I am in Czech Republic. Keep up the great work gentlemen. Thank you our stay with you was a pleasure. Others in Pilsen should follow your example.
This hotel has a central location and we were really impressed by the breakfast offer. The room was clean and the beds were spacious for a family of four, given the price which we found was very friendly.
The parking was extra, but in an inner courtyard behind a barrier and the price was very reasonable as well.
The Pilsner beer along with water in the room was a very appreciated Czech gesture! The ice box for it worked fine as well.
Clean and quiet room, good closet space with plenty of clothes hangers, nice shower with plenty of hot water, substantial breakfast offerings, has a lift, local bus stops right outside the hotel for transfer to a nearby tram for a quick ride to the center (or the tram stop is a very short walk from the hotel). Staff is friendly and in particular, Marketa and Tereza at the front desk were very welcoming and super helpful.
We had such a comfortable stay and everything was super super clean. The staff was great and made check in very easy even only with English, and the breakfast was top! Really easy and flat walk from the city center (10-15 mins) or take the tram + 20 bus using excellent Pilzn public transport. We had a key to let ourselves in after hours. This was our favorite stay in all of Czech Republic.
The hotel is located in the heart of Plzen and in a very cozy old townhouse, which houses a lovely restaurant downstairs and a quiet hotel upstairs. Very accessible, but beware if you have a heavy suitcase, cos you need to carry it up quite a few stairs :-) The staff was extremely friendly and very eager to explain, show us around, and help us with parking!
The location, right on the main square and the cathedral, close to tram and bus routes and within walking distance of most of the sights of Plzen. Also a wide range of bars, cafes and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The hotel breakfast was very good and the view from the restaurant is very nice. All the staff were very polite and helpful.
Warm, friendly staff. Quiet hotel, five minute taxi ride or twenty minute walk from the train station and close to the Pilsen Brewery for the famous tour. Lovely breakfast prepared with great care. Close to a really big inexpensive grocery store, McDonald's & a great hardware store that sells practically everything. Great value for money.
We would like to share our experience with you all. Republika is the best place by far in the Czech Republic!!!! Not only due to its great value but outstanding staff with an amazing kitchen!!!! Plzen’s Republika has set the standards high for all places in the country within the tourism industry:))) thank you. Eva, Ray, Vesna, Manu & Megan
Beautiful hotel with gorgeous decor. My room was very nice - good size and tastefully decorated.
The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Breakfast was great as was the breakfast service.
Location is perfect - right in the center whilst quiet.
I strongly recommend this hotel. It deserves 4 stars not only 3!
The hotel had last minute availability on a room which helped us out of an emergency. the hotel is easy to find on the outskirts of the city and has plenty of free parking. you can probably take a bus into the city but we didn’t have time. Good restaurant with a reasonable menu. Breakfast was good.
Amazing hotel. Do not get intimidated by its external looks - inside it breathes the spirit of the 30s, first Republic era. Sunday breakfast is accompanied by a live piano play and makes your thoughts float.. Centrally placed, kids personnel, nice rooms and reasonable price - will come again!
Large and comfortable apartment, with a truly magnificent view of the central square in Plzeň. The location truly was fabulous, and couldn't be better.
Wifi was good, and the handover of keys worked smoothly and as described, with no problems.
Simply outstanding, we visit Pilsen several times a year, and this Hotel ist exceptional, the staff make problems go away for good, if any!
The wellness area is also to note, simply exceptional.
The place was really good value. Nice apartment, comfy beds, nice rooms. In a quiet neighborhood. Jakub was very helpful and great host. If you want to stay in Plzen, i highly reccomend it.
